This is me, and the horse that saved me.  My knight in shining armor .. He taught me more about horses than any human ever could.  I may have rescued him, but he rescued me as well.  Sadly for me, he crossed the rainbow bridge not long ago but I take comfort in knowing he had a good life with us.  He was the king of the property and he never went hungry or ignored.  I hope we meet again someday, and I feel confident we will, as that is the Heaven I chose to believe in.
